Manila, Feb. 13 -- The Anti-Terrorism Council (ATC) is seeking enhanced policies and strategic responses to counter terrorism and other emerging threats.
Executive Secretary Ralph Recto, who chairs the ATC, convened a meeting with the council members on Thursday to discuss efforts in further strengthening counter-terrorism policies.
"During the meeting, the Executive Secretary directed all concerned agencies to deliver concrete, coordinated actions grounded in vigilance, unity, and compassion for the nation's welfare," the Office of the Executive Secretary said in a statement on Friday.
The 37th ATC meeting was convened in adherence to President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.'s directive to reinforce peace and order nationwide.
