Manila, Sept. 14 -- AstraZeneca Philippines and AC Health have signed a memorandum of understanding to establish a pioneering partnership aimed at strengthening clinical trial capabilities across the country and improving patient access to innovative therapies.

In a news release on Monday, AstraZeneca said its global clinical research expertise combines with AC Health's integrated hospital network, utilizing the reach of the Healthway Medical Network to assess and prepare multiple healthcare facilities for clinical trials.

The partnership will equip investigators and clinical teams with training based on Good Clinical Practice standards while expanding research opportunities beyond traditional trial centers.
