Manila, Aug. 14 -- The Archdiocese of Nueva Segovia and the Diocese of Tarlac have appealed to Caritas Manila for financial and relief assistance for families affected by tropical cyclone Maymay and the intensified southwest monsoon (habagat).

In separate interviews over Radio Veritas, Nueva Segovia Archbishop David William Antonio and Caritas Tarlac Executive Director Rev. Fr. Randy Salunga asked for the help of Caritas Manila for the people affected by the weather disturbance and heavy rains.
