SAN JOSE DE BUENAVISTA, July 14 -- Antique recorded zero casualty amid flooding and landslides caused by the Typhoon Inday-induced southwest monsoon (habagat) over the weekend.

Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Officer Broderick Train said local government units implemented preemptive evacuation for residents living in flood and landslide-prone areas.

Fifteen municipalities (Tobias Fornier, Anini-y, Barbaza, Culasi, San Jose de Buenavista, Sibalom, Valderrama, Laua-an, Tibiao, Pandan, Bugasong, Hamtic, Sebaste, Belison and Patnongon) preemptively evacuated their residents when the province experienced heavy rainfall Thursday to Saturday.
