LEGAZPI CITY, March 26 -- The provincial government of Albay, through the Albay Public Safety Emergency Management Office - Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (APSEMO-PDRRMC), has suspended face-to-face classes at all levels and moved to alternative learning methods due to the transport strike scheduled until Friday, officials announced Thursday.
Albay acting Gov. Farida Co, in Advisory No. 2026-07, issued Wednesday afternoon, directed local government units to mobilize available resources to assist commuters affected by the strike.
"All city and municipal disaster risk reduction and management offices were placed on alert and instructed to monitor the situation closely," the advisory said.
