Manila, Oct. 1 -- An upcoming full-scale disaster response simulation exercise (SIMEX) by the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) in Negros Oriental will reassure the public of their safety and security, an official said Wednesday.
Frank Muana Jr., air terminal supervisor and vice chairperson of the Aerodrome Safety and Security Advisory Council at the Dumaguete-Sibulan Airport, said in a press briefing that the SIMEX on Oct. 8 will bring together key players from the government and private sectors in disaster response.
