Manila, Oct. 1 -- A Philippine Air Force Tactical Operation Group 5 helicopter on Tuesday airlifted a five-year-old girl from Masbate province to the Bicol Regional Hospital and Medical Center (BRHMC) for emergency medical treatment.
In an interview on Wednesday, BRHMC director Dr. Eric Roborar said the patient underwent a CT scan right after they arrived at the hospital.
"So far, based on the result, she has a left and right brain hematoma. The early medical intervention that was done was very helpful in checking the status of the patient. We are sure of the management needed," he said.
Raborar said the patient will still be observed and will undergo another examination.
