BUTUAN CITY, July 1 -- The Department of Tourism in Caraga Region (DOT-13) and Caraga State University (CSU) signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) on Tuesday for the development of an AI-driven Information Management System (IMS) to enhance tourism governance and service delivery in the region.

The system, dubbed "AI-Drive i-Tour IMS," is a smart, integrated tourism IMS to be developed by CSU to transform tourism management and enhance visitor experiences in the region.

The project is funded by the Department of Economy, Planning, and Development (DepDev) through its Innovation Grants Program.
