Manila, June 30 -- The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) on Tuesday said it recognizes the rights of a religious group to peacefully assemble along the People Power Monument in EDSA, Quezon City but urged organizers not to let their activities disrupt public order.

In a message to reporters, the AFP also said it is monitoring the situation with its units based in the National Capital Region and coordinates with its counterparts in the Philippine National Police (PNP).
