Manila, June 16 -- The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), through the Philippine Navy (PN), on Tuesday assured the public that it continues to monitor all Chinese activities in Bajo de Masinloc (BdM), West Philippine Sea (WPS), following the discovery of a "moveable floating platform" three weeks ago.

In a press briefing at Camp Aguinaldo, Quezon City, PN spokesperson Capt. Marissa Martinez said the Philippines' rights and sovereignty in BdM has long been recognized by the arbitral ruling of the Permanent Court of Arbitration in The Hague in 2016.
