Manila, Feb. 12 -- The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) - Negros Oriental has identified 70 micro businesses in Canlaon City to receive business kits after being displaced by Typhoon Tino.

Krystle Jade Bato, DTI - Negros Oriental spokesperson, on Thursday, said that the beneficiaries have already been profiled for qualification for the kits, worth PHP15,000 each.

"The original number of businesses impacted by the typhoon last November was more than 70, but since the budget is limited, we had to shorten the list and prioritize those heavily affected," Bato said in an interview.

She said each beneficiary will receive a Negosyo Kit according to their original registered business, such as a sari-sari store.
