64 Antique daycare centers receive 'spoiled' pork for feeding program
SAN JOSE DE BUENAVISTA, July 22 -- The 64 child development centers (CDCs) in the Municipality of Sibalom in Antique await the action of the regional office of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) after receiving "spoiled" pork intended for their Supplementary Feeding Program (SFP).
Sibalom Municipal Social Welfare and Development Officer Ma. Dominga Zaragoza, in an interview on Wednesday, said the foul-smelling pork was distributed to the CDCS by supplier Kamapat Agricultural Cooperative on Monday.
The pork, valued at about PHP150,000, was intended to serve as their one-month supply.
