Butuan City, Aug. 4 -- At least 50 Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) organizations benefited from the release of a PHP26.1-million seed capital fund during a series of distribution activities from July 16 to 31, the Department of Social Welfare and Development in the Caraga Region (DSWD-13) said Monday.
"The 50 organizations were from 10 municipalities and two cities in the provinces of Agusan del Norte, Agusan del Sur, and Dinagat Islands," the DSWD-13 said in its report.
In Agusan del Norte, 13 SLP groups were given PHP6.9 million in total capitalization, while 25 SLP clusters in Agusan del Sur were provided with funds totaling PHP11.4 million.
