BAGUIO CITY, July 9 -- The Social Security System is encouraging beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) to enroll in the AlkanSSSya program to gain social security protection.

"We are working with the Department of Social Welfare and Development to encourage 4Ps beneficiaries to consider social security coverage and other benefits by becoming active SSS members," Christian Andrew Rillorta, SSS North Luzon 1 Division (SSS NL1) corporate communications officer, said Thursday.

Rillorta said SSS recently launched the pilot implementation of the 4Ps-AlkanSSSya program among members of the 4Ps United Association in Barangay Tabtabungao, Rosario, La Union.
