Manila, July 10 -- Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) personnel arrested four male suspects involved in the illegal trading and distribution of petroleum products, locally known as "paihi," and seized around PHP20 million worth of fuel products in Malabon City early Friday.

In a press briefing in Camp Crame, CIDG-National Capital Region chief, Col. John Guiagui, said the smuggled diesel products were seized during police operations in Barangay Concepcion around 2:30 a.m.

The arrested suspects will be facing criminal charges of violations to Presidential Decree 1865.
