Manila, Oct. 27 -- Four additional Philippine banks are set to offer Apple Pay among their services by November, increasing the total number by the end of 2026 to eight, an official of Mastercard Philippines said.

Mastercard Philippines country manager Jason Crasto declined to name the four additional banks but said the development will further boost the adoption of digital finance.

"Over the next couple of months, you'll have some of the other large banks that will go live with Apple Pay. So, I think next year is a year that we're all very keenly looking forward to, because you will have momentum that will come in from transactions that are done via Apple Pay.
