Manila, March 13 -- The Social Housing Finance Corporation (SHFC) has approved two housing projects in Silay City, Negros Occidental, under the Enhanced Community Mortgage Program (ECMP), paving the way for more than 330 families to secure ownership of the land where their homes stand.

In a news release on Friday, the SHFC said its Credit Committee approved the projects for the La Vida Homeowners' Association Inc. and Ofelia Gonzaga Homeowners in Barangay Rizal, Silay City.

The ECMP is among the housing initiatives being implemented by SHFC under the Expanded Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino Program of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. and the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD).
