3 police officers undergo inquest for mistaken identity case
CAMP ALEJO SANTOS, July 18 -- The three Baliwag City Police officers involved in a mistaken identity incident have undergone inquest proceedings following the filing of criminal complaints.
The Police Regional Office-Central Luzon (PRO-3) reported on Saturday that the complaints filed are physical injuries, unjust vexation, grave coercion, slander by deed and attempted kidnapping. Likewise, an administrative case is being prepared by the National Police Commission.
The businessman, based in Barangay Tangos, narrated that he was approached by several individuals who identified themselves as police officers and attempted to drag him into a vehicle.
They immediately left when they realized he had been mistaken for another person.
