Palo Leyte, Aug. 13 -- The 2023-2028 Regional Development Plan (RDP) for Eastern Visayas is now under review to see how the region performed in the first half of the current administration.

The long-term plan assessment included a series of intensive multi-sector and multi-level consultations in the region led by planning committees, according to Meylene Rosales, RDC vice chairperson and Department of Economy, Planning, and Development (DEPDev) regional director.

"The RDP is now being updated as mandated by law since it is halfway through the implementation period. We need to update for the second half, taking into consideration positive and negative developments, and see where we exceeded and fell short of the target," Rosales said in ...
