Manila, Aug. 6 -- The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), in partnership with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), rolled out an employment program benefiting 200 residents in two towns in Zamboanga Sibugay province.

DOLE-Zamboanga Peninsula Director Albert Gutib said in a statement Wednesday that the identified beneficiaries of the program are residents of Roseller T. Lim and Titay towns.

Gutib said they will be employed under Project Local Adaptation to Water Access and Breaking Insufficiency through Nutritious Harvest for the Impoverished (LAWA at BINHI), a flagship DSWD initiative designed specifically to promote climate resilience and food security.
