Manila, Dec. 15 -- The Southern Police District (SPD) recovered PHP7.13 million worth of suspected illegal drugs after two abandoned eco-bags were found along Apartment Ridge Street in Barangay Urdaneta, Makati City on Sunday, Dec. 14.

In a statement, SPD director Brig. Gen. Randy Arceo said police responded to a report of unattended bags at around 12:20 p.m. The information came from a phone call received at about 12:05 p.m. by Substation 5 of Police Station 2 from a concerned citizen.

Officers from the Makati City Police inspected the items and recovered suspected ecstasy tablets valued at PHP6.23 million, marijuana kush (PHP655,000), marijuana oil vape cartridges (PHP23,400) and cocaine (PHP222,600), bringing the total estimated valu...
