TACLOBAN CITY, Oct. 7 -- Micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Eastern Visayas are eyeing at least PHP43 million in sales during a five-day trade fair in Metro Manila later this week.

The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) said the Bahandi Eastern Visayas Trade Fair, to be held at SM Megamall in Mandaluyong City on Oct. 9 to 13, will allow local producers to link with institutional buyers based in Metro Manila and other parts of the country.

At least 141 MSMEs from Eastern Visayas' six provinces, as well as six creative visual artists, will join the traditional trade fair held yearly in Metro Manila.
