Manila, Sept. 22 -- Two electric operatives (ECs) in Northern Luzon are experiencing total power interruption and nine others, including one from Southern Luzon, are suffering from partial interruption due to impact of Super Typhoon Nando (international name Ragasa).
In a report issued Monday night, the inter-agency Task Force on Energy Resiliency, led by the Department of Energy (DOE), identified the two ECs with total power interruption as the Abra Electric Cooperative (ABRECO) in the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) and the Batanes Electric Cooperative Inc. (BATANELCO) in Cagayan Valley, areas that are under Tropical Cycle Wind Signal (TCWS) No. 2 to 4 based on the 8 p.m. report of the weather bureau.
