BACOLOD CITY, July 27 -- Some 100 public school teachers under the Department of Education (DepEd) Schools Division Office (SDO) of Negros Occidental, who were promoted under the Expanded Career Progression (ECP) System, renewed their commitment to service during their oathtaking on Monday.

Schools Division Superintendent Gladys Amylaine Sales, who administered the oath in a ceremony held at the SDO grounds here, said the approval of their reclassification recognizes the educators' dedication, competence and commitment to excellence in public service.

The 100 teachers include 65 who were reclassified to Teacher VI, 30 to Teacher V and five to Teacher IV.
