Manila, Feb. 20 -- To neutralize threats caused by "Foreign Information Manipulation Interference" or FIMI, a ranking National Security Council (NSC) official on Friday said democratic societies must use a "whole-of-nation strategy."

"To counter the complex and evolving threats posed by FIMI, democratic societies must adopt a comprehensive whole-of-nation strategy," NSC Assistant Director General Cornelio Valencia Jr. said on the second day of "Navigating Digital Crossroads: Advancing Cybersecurity and Democratic Resilience in the Indo-Pacific" -a conference co-organized by Stratbase Institute and the Embassy of Canada.
