Manila, Feb. 27 -- Malacanang on Friday denied that Sen. Imee Marcos has no presidential security detail due to her apparent squabble with President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.

"Wala pong kinalaman iyon (It has nothing to do with that)," Palace Press Officer Claire Castro said in a press briefing, when asked if the rift between the President and his sister was the reason for the absence of presidential security detail for the senator.

Castro clarified that Marcos has never reacted "negatively" toward his sibling.
