Manila, Sept. 29 -- The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Iloilo kicked off its 6th Artesanias de Iloilo trade fair, serving as a venue for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to connect with local consumers and bigger markets.

DTI-Iloilo Director Dorita Chavez, in her message during the opening ceremony on Monday afternoon, said the celebration, with the theme, "Kultura kag Handum: Rooted in Culture, Made for the Future," speaks strongly of their journey and is a reminder that their products are a reminder of who they are as Ilonggos.

The event, which runs until Oct. 4, showcased 96 MSMEs, representing key industries, including clusters of coffee, cacao, bamboo, coconut, processed food, wearables, and homestyle.
