India, June 26 -- The latest Redmi Note 17 series leak suggests Xiaomi is moving towards a different approach for its China-focused mid-range phones, with endurance, durability and day-to-day practicality taking centre stage. One of the upcoming models could get a 9,000mAh battery, a flat 1.5K display, dual stereo speakers and enhanced water and drop-resistance, and the Snapdragon 6-series chipset, which is widely anticipated to be the Snapdragon 6 Gen 5. These are still considered to be leaks and not official specifications, as yet Xiaomi has not confirmed the lineup.
