India, Aug. 14 -- A long-running complaint on X is about to become slightly easier to investigate. The platform is testing an "Under the Hood" tool that shows selected users information about visibility-limiting labels applied to their accounts and posts. The feature does not provide a simple "shadowbanned" verdict. Instead, it exposes aggregate data about restrictions that can affect how content appears across X. That distinction is important because a post can remain online while being excluded from some recommendation or discovery surfaces.
