India, Aug. 20 -- Vivo has reportedly raised the price of this phone for the third time in four months, and the whole trend is difficult to ignore.

The Vivo T5 Pro was released in April at Rs.29,999. Price trackers now show the same 8GB+128GB base variant at Rs.41,999. That is a Rs.12,000 jump, or about 40% more than its launch price, in around four months. It has also happened through three separate rounds, not one dramatic move.

There is one important inconsistency. At the time of checking, Vivo's official online store was still displaying Rs.35,999 for the base variant. Buyers should therefore verify the final checkout price through their chosen retailer.
