India, April 27 -- After a PS5 price increase in U.S., U.K., Europe, and Japan, Sony has now increased the price of its PS5 console in Southeast Asia region. The regions impacted by the PS5 price increase are Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Thailand, and Vietnam. Earlier after the price increase in Europe and U.S., Sony had stated "With continued pressures in the global economic landscape, we've made the decision to increase the prices of PS5, PS5 Pro, and PlayStation Portal remote player globally." The reason behind the PlayStation 5 price hike in Southeast Asia region also could be continued economic pressures like inflation and RAM shortages.
