India, May 19 -- Sony had just announced a price increase for its PS5 and PS5 Pro consoles in select regions, and the reason behind the price increase was cited as rising economic pressure. Now, again on May 18, 2026, Sony has come out with another big increase in the prices of its premium subscription service, PlayStation Plus.
