India, Sept. 25 -- Premium true wireless earbuds have become increasingly predictable. High-resolution codecs, multipoint connectivity, and capable ANC are now expected at this price. The Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 5 tries to stand apart by addressing a problem most earbuds eventually face: lithium-ion battery degradation.

I have been using the Denim-coloured unit to find out whether its replaceable batteries, upgraded design, and audio performance make it a better long-term investment than the typical premium earbuds.

Sennheiser has dropped the fin-stabilised housing of the Momentum True Wireless 4. The MTW5 gets a smoother teardrop design that sits more naturally in the ear and is intended to reduce wind interference.
