India, June 5 -- Redmi has been selling phones in India for years. However, it has never launched a device quite like the Redmi Turbo 5. The Redmi Turbo 5 India launch is confirmed for June 16 through Amazon India, marking Xiaomi's first Turbo-branded launch under the Redmi name in the country. That is intentional and acts as a sign of something more than one product.

The Redmi Turbo 5 specifications include a 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra processor, a 6.59-inch 1.5K 120Hz OLED display with up to 3,500 nits brightness, a 7,560mAh silicon-carbon battery with 100W fast charging, and IP68/IP69K protection.
