Planning to buy the iPhone Ultra: Here's why it could be nearly impossible to buy it at launch
India, July 7 -- According to Ming-Chi Kuo's latest report, the iPhone Ultra could be extremely hard to find at launch and may even see a phased rollout. Apple is expected to unveil its first foldable iPhone, widely referred to as the iPhone Ultra, alongside the iPhone 18 series during its September 2026 keynote, but that may be much harder to get than an iPhone Pro.
Supply chain analyst Ming-Chi Kuo says Apple could produce around 7-8 million iPhone Ultra units in the second half of 2026, with only 0.5-1 million units expected during the July-September quarter.
