Pixel Glow vs Nothing Glyph: Google quietly removes this feature from Pixel 11
India, July 19 -- There's a new feature in Google's new Pixel 11 and Pixel Glow that nobody's talking about. Google has just eliminated the FDA-cleared body temperature sensor that differentiated the Pixel in the smartphone world. They're trading it in for an RGB notification light that's quite similar to Nothing's signature Glyph-style approach. This is done to accommodate Pixel Glow, a notification light that looks very much like Nothing's Glyph Interface. That's a fair technical point. But it also reveals the actual trade being made: a functional, if niche, health tool is being swapped for a purely aesthetic notification light.
