India, Sept. 21 -- OnePlus is readying itself to add another budget smartphone to its lineup in India with the OnePlus N6 Lite. The new device is due to launch on September 22 at 12 PM IST and is designed as an affordable phone aimed at users who prioritise battery life.

The company has not announced the OnePlus N6 Lite price in India yet. Earlier reports suggested that it could become the brand's most affordable smartphone in the country, placing it below the OnePlus N6x. The final price, however, will only be confirmed during the launch.

The OnePlus N6 Lite's signature feature is its large 7,000mAh battery. Despite the high-capacity cell, OnePlus has kept the chassis at 8.95mm thick.
