India, Aug. 26 -- It is software day for Nothing Phone (3) users. Nothing OS 5.0, the Android 17 update, launches its Open Beta programme today at 3:30 PM IST. No more teaser, no more "coming soon" - it is a real rollout with a definite time, and Phone (3) users are the first to try it.

Nothing's official announcement states that the Open Beta will be available from 3:30 PM IST, or 11:00 AM BST, beginning with the Nothing Phone (3).

Nothing OS 5.0, built on Android 17, brings more than 80 changes across design, personalisation, performance and AI. New features include the Geist typeface, updated icons, wallpaper-based colours, transparent design elements, batch home-screen editing and Noto 3D Emoji.
