India, May 14 -- Motorola has launched the Razr Fold in India, and the biggest takeaway is straightforward: it is the brand's first book-style foldable smartphone. In contrast to the clamshell Razr series, this one folds into a full tablet-sized screen, placing Motorola squarely in the high-end foldable market in India. The phone was first unveiled at MWC 2026 in March, and its India launch now takes Motorola's foldable strategy to a new level.

The headline upgrade is the 8.1-inch internal LTPO pOLED display that gives the phone its book-style foldable identity, which makes it more suitable for multitasking, reading and media consumption.
