India, July 29 -- Most Android 17 beta coverage has focused on the new Dynamic Island-style notifications and the revamped Qira AI assistant. The bigger story is Motorola's Android 17 rollout speed. A brand once known for slow software updates is now pushing the new version of Android to devices much faster than before.

The biggest visual change is the Motorola Live Updates badge. Previously shown as a pill on the left side of the status bar, it now sits around the centered camera cutout, similar to Apple's Dynamic Island.
