India, Sept. 16 -- The Motorola Edge 70 Neo has appeared on Geekbench ahead of its India launch. The benchmark listing suggests that the phone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor instead of the MediaTek chipset mentioned in earlier reports.

Motorola has confirmed that the Motorola Edge 70 Neo will roll out in India over the coming months. It has not announced the launch date, price or specifications. The Geekbench appearance now provides the first indication of the phone's processor, RAM and operating system.

The Geekbench listing identifies the motherboard as "stkhlm" and the processor as QTI SM7635, which corresponds to the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 mobile platform.
