Minecraft Snapshot 26.3 Fixes Glass Water and Particle Glitches
India, July 1 -- Minecraft Java players have a new snapshot to test, and this one is mostly about making the game look less visually messy. Minecraft 26.3 Snapshot 2 replaces the older "Improved Transparency" system with order-independent transparency, or OIT, a new rendering method aimed at fixing awkward see-through glitches. This update targets the visual jank around glass, water, particles, clouds, mobs, text displays, and other translucent objects. If you have ever seen something disappear behind stained glass or render in the wrong order, this snapshot is aimed at that kind of problem.
But unlike any other update this once also comes with an tradeoff that is better visuals may come with a bigger frame-rate hit.
