India, Sept. 1 -- Minecraft Dungeons II is doing more than adding another batch of mobs and loot. The sequel changes how players explore, build their heroes, and team up, while keeping the familiar dungeon-crawling loop at the center.

The biggest shift is a more connected world. Players will travel across the Overworld and the newly revealed Sift when Minecraft Dungeons II launches on September 29. Along the way, they can expect quests, settlements, changing locations, expanded gear, and a surprisingly useful new skill. Heroes can finally jump.

The original Minecraft Dungeons sent players into self-contained missions selected from camp. Minecraft Dungeons II moves away from that structure with larger interconnected regions.
