India, Sept. 1 -- Microsoft's August 31 outage is easing, but for businesses running on Microsoft 365, the situation is not fully back to normal. By Monday evening, Microsoft said mail flow was gradually recovering across Outlook and Exchange Online.

Engineers were still deploying mitigation measures and restarting selected parts of the affected infrastructure. Microsoft had not yet declared the incident resolved, which means users should treat the current improvement as partial recovery rather than a full restoration.
