India, May 26 -- Marvel Rivals has hit a problem every online shooter knows too well. One cheater can turn a fun match into a total mess, and a weekend with several of them roaming through queues is enough to make players side-eye every strange headshot or suspicious play.

Now that the team at NetEase Games has been made aware of that concern, they took action to permanently ban the accounts of players who were using cheats, assisted with illegal tools, or otherwise changed their client.
