India, Sept. 13 -- The prices of the iPhone 17 and iPhone Air have jumped by as much as Rs.65,000 in India. In its smartphone lineup, Apple has officially raised the prices of some of its older offerings, a trend not seen in the tech industry. The older flagship phones typically get discounts when new phones are introduced.

But alongside the global launch of the iPhone 18 Pro series, Apple has introduced major price increases on its official Indian online store. The standard iPhone 17, ultra-slim iPhone Air, lower-priced iPhone 17e and even the older iPhone 16 are affected by the increase.
