India, Sept. 23 -- Apple's first foldable iPhone Duo starts at Rs.2,99,900 in India, putting it firmly in the ultra-premium smartphone segment. With a 7.6-inch inner display, 5.4-inch outer screen and A20 Pro chip, the iPhone Duo brings Apple's first foldable design to the market.

But there is a fundamental question that needs to be addressed here: Is the iPhone Duo truly ready for the Indian market, or is the Indian consumer paying a huge premium for Apple's first-generation foldable hardware?

The iPhone Duo has been announced in India, but sales have not started yet. Apple says pre-orders begin on October 16, with availability from October 23. The base 256GB model is priced at Rs.2,99,900.
