India, Sept. 8 -- The Indian smartphone market is buzzing with excitement as CyberMedia Research (CMR) has released preliminary estimates for the iPhone 18 series in India and Apple's long-awaited book-style foldable.

Early estimates suggest that Apple's launch quarter in India-September, October and November-could account for almost 40% of its total shipment volume for the year. CMR expects the period to see around 4% year-on-year growth, making it the most critical quarter for the company.
