India, April 28 -- Passwords still guard much of digital banking, but they are no longer strong enough on their own. A stolen login, a phished one-time password, or a rented account can make a fraudster look like a real user, at least at the first checkpoint.
That is why fraud detection is moving from static credentials to live behavioral signals. The key question is no longer just, "Does this user have the right password?" It is also, "Does this activity look like the real person, device, or system behind the account?"
