India, July 17 -- Grim Trials has finally put a date on its appointment with death. The Indonesian action roguelite will launch on August 20, 2026, for PC through Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2.

Developed by Glory Jam and published by Soft Source Publishing, the game mixes fast combat, heavy metal, crafting, and a coming-of-age story set beyond the grave. It may sound like familiar roguelite territory, but Grim Trials is trying to give the usual fight, fall, and repeat loop a little more soul.
